This page describes what data the Yuchun Lab website handles. It is written from how the site actually works, not from a template.

Language preference: when you switch languages we store a cookie named yuchunlab-language in your browser for one year. It holds only the language code you chose so the site opens in the same language next time. It is a functional setting and is not used to identify you.
Server access logs: like any website, our server records the IP address, timestamp, browser version and requested URL of each connection. These are used only to keep the site running, diagnose faults and defend against attacks.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any third-party analytics or advertising tracker.
We do not build visitor profiles or analyse individual browsing behaviour.
We do not sell, rent or trade any data to third parties.
The site loads no external fonts or third-party resources, so browsing here sends no requests to other companies.

There is no contact form on this site. The contact details shown are email links: your own mail client sends the message, and its contents never pass through our server. Mail you send us stays in our mailbox and is used only to reply and continue the conversation.

Insights articles offer Facebook and LINE share links. These are ordinary hyperlinks, not embedded tracking scripts; nothing is sent to those platforms unless you click. Once you do, that platform's own privacy policy applies.

Clearing your browser cookies removes the language preference, with no effect on using the site.
Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you may write to us to access, correct or request deletion of data we hold about you.

If we later add analytics, a contact form or any other data-collecting feature, we will update this page before it goes live.
